“Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.”
Rotary International was founded in Chicago, Illinois on February 23, 1905 by Paul Harris, a lawyer, and other local businessmen. The members took turns hosting the sessions at their businesses, and so they adopted the name “Rotary”.
The Fenton Rotary club was chartered on June 18, 1985 with 29 members. Over the years, the club has grown to our current membership of 40, representing the diverse spectrum of businesses in our area. The Fenton Rotarians have been active in serving our communities, as you’ll see in these pages. From rebuilding Bush Park to rebuilding an African orphanage. From eradicating polio in the third world to fighting child abuse and neglect in Genesee County. From providing water in a mountain village in Guatemala to providing Christmas for needy local children. The Fenton Rotary is actively serving on all levels, all over the world

“Rotarians are the kind of people I like to be around. They’re the kind of people I want my children to grow up to be.” --David Smith
